The towns Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, Pisa and Volterra can all be reached within an hour of this tranquil and idyllic valley, an ideal location for those wishing to tour the area and take in some of the art, history and culture for which it is so famous, not to mention some of the world’s finest wine!

Florence, the most famous of Tuscany’s cities, is a stunning and picturesque city in the heart of a valley and, though small in size, is one of the most historically significant towns on earth. With a rich history dating back over 3000 years, it is commonly recognised as the birth of the renaissance and the heartbeat of Italian art, literature and culture.
